Spotlight on Student Achievements: Microsurgery Training

We are proud to celebrate the journey of one of our students, Dr. Yoshiko Toyoda.
In 2019, Dr. Toyoda began her microsurgery training in our laboratory, starting with a microsurgery kit gifted by her mentor, Dr. Jason Spector.
Today, in 2025, she has advanced to Hand & Microsurgery Fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic, continuing to build her skills alongside her co-fellows in their fellowship bootcamp.
We are excited to see Dr. Toyoda’s continued growth and success in the field of microsurgery.
